Do you wanna know how? Check out the tips by Cris Ventura, Feng Shui consultant, and learn how to decorate your home according to the technique that promises to attract the best vibes.

In theory
"Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art that has been studying the energies of the environments for over 3000 years," Cris says. The practice is based on the analysis of space and, from it, makes changes in the environment to benefit well-being in daily life.

The "Bagua Map" (energy map) identifies a specific space of the house and what them represents in different areas of life. "For each of them there are colors, shapes, and elements that help decorate all the rooms of your home," says the consultant.

In practice
Here's how to apply the Feng Shui in your day-to-day:

Living room
As it should be welcoming, use warm colors like yellow or orange. The mixture of tones in ornaments is also valid, as it balances the vibrations of the environment. To decorate, go on rounded pieces such as an area rug, a vase to welcome seasonal flowers or ceiling accessories. Tip: a nice pair of pillows is perfect for letting the energy flow and the peace reign.

Bedroom
The bedroom is one of the most important areas of the house because that's where we really relax. Having curtains (light fabric) is indispensable as it helps to improve your sleep. The main suggestion for this room is to always choose lamps, nightstands and the same rugs. According to the consultant, this practice provides more love between a couple. Here, prefer light colors (green, lilac, blue, pink, white or pastel colors).

Bathroom
It is a place of privacy, purification, and renew the energies. To keep your health up to date, decorate the bathroom with items in tones of yellow, silver or gold, pieces with floral prints, ceramic vases, candles, and aromas. Remember: leave the door and the toilet seat always closed because the energies left in the bathroom shouldn't flow around the house.

Kitchen
Considered the heart of the home, it is in the kitchen where the transformation of food and vital energy happen. It is essential to keep it in order as the cabinets symbolize the organization and prosperity of finances. Choose a cheerful decor and invest in colorful utensils, printed tablecloths, and ceramic items. In general, the environment should be clear to contrast with the objects of the site.

The main message of Feng Shui is to let go of old and unused items, repair broken parts and always keep the house clean. This will open up space for new energies and opportunities in your life and in your professional career.
