Half Girl, Half Woman

Hypnotizing eyes, a delicate silhouette, and softly hoarse voice. It is difficult to define what most fascinates in Laura Neiva. The Sao Paulo based actress began her career very early at 14 years old. Today, at age 21, she is a woman who draws attention wherever she goes. Curiously she didn't have the intention to turn all the spotlight on her—daughter and granddaughter of interior designers, she didn't think of any profession rather than related to architecture. However, Laura realized that she was destined to stand in front of the camera. Good for us!

In our exclusive interview, Laura speaks about her career, love and, of course, her participation for Dafiti Collection campaign. Check it out!

At age 14, you were discovered on social media and then were invited to starring a movie. Have you ever this dream?
Actually, I haven't had thought about acting. I had my first experience performing in a school play but, because a mix of shame and anxiety, I didn't like it. I thought I would be an architect since my mother and grandmother working as interior designers, but when I was invited to be in the movie "À Deriva," I realized that it was what I wanted to do.

You are in high demand among fashion professionals. Have you always been a fashion fan?
To be honest, I wasn't connected to the Fashion Industry. However, when I was a kid, I used to love beauty products, and I used to self makeup—the funny fact is that my mom has never been wearing makeup.

Since you live with the rush of daily life, how do you keep your body in good shape?
I never diet, but I should (LOL). I practice ballet fitness regularly, which combines circuits exercises with ballet-inspired moves.

How do you describe your style? What's your key item?
I think I dress quite naturally. I'm a fan of jeans, white and black t-shirts. But I like to dress more sophisticated clothes at night. And last but not least, I love to wear sneakers!

You and actor Chay Suede are a very stylish couple. Do you guys usually ask for an opinion to each other?
We always try to highlight what we have the best about our style, but I like the way how he dresses and vice versa. That's all right!

Do you usually buy clothes on the internet?
I thought I don't, but after a while, I've noticed how many packages were being delivered home (LOL). For me, buying via the internet is very useful and fast, even when I have to return something.

What do you always have in your necessaire?
I have lots of makeup products, but I don't use almost anything (LOL), do you believe that? I like natural beauty, but what I care about is to apply sunscreen every day. It's essential for me!

What is it like to be part of the Dafiti Collection star casting? Have you enjoyed the products?
I'm so happy to be in this campaign—it’s amazing working with all the people involved. Of course, I'm in love with all the items. They so are beautiful!

Will we see you back on the big screen soon?
I am dedicating to improve my performance, and soon you guys will have good news! I've just finished a course taught by director Antunes Filho at the Theatrical Research Center, and it was wonderful. I love what I do!
